Tree-Athlon 2011
Steve
hosted the Tree-Athlon in Battersea park, London on
September 17th. Trees
for Cities is an independent charity which inspires
people to plant and love trees worldwide. Established
in 1993, Trees for Cities creates social cohesion
and beautifies our cities through tree planting, community-led
design, education and training initiatives in urban
areas that need it most.
There was a warm welcome from CEO of Trees for Cities
Sharon Johnson, and then encouraging words from Kulveer
Ranger; Director of Environment and Digital London.
