Oyster
Festival 2011
Steve was host and compere for the eighth annual Oyster
Festival. The event was held at Hardwick Hall, Sedgefield.
As Steve has hosted all of the previous Oyster Festivals,
he has enjoyed watching the event go from strength to
strength. It grows in popularity every year, and is
now the most high profile event, and must have ticket
in the North East social calendar.

The
chosen charity for the event was Marie Cure. The Marie
Curie Nursing Service helps people who are approaching
the end of their lives to remain at home if they wish
to, through its nationwide network of Marie Curie
Nurses who provide nursing care at home.
They cover 95 per cent of the UK. Their service is
free to the people they care for, their families and
carers. Over £17,500 was raised on the day.
Steve hosted the auction.
