Steve hosted (for the fifth successive year) the Newcastle Christmas light switch on. As with previous years the event was a massive success.

A mix of local radio Presenters, festive entertainment, and of course, Newcastle and England legend Michael Owen switching on the lights.

Steve linked the whole event together, with fun and games, he never gets away without singing a couple of songs! and of course, interviewing Michael.

The event becomes bigger each year, thanks to the hard work of not only Steve, but the City Council, and in particular Mike Thomas who co-ordinates the event.
