Steve is now widely regarded as the UK's leading Compere. Being asked to host the Champions League Final at Old Trafford in 2003 for UEFA confirmed this. He was also asked by BBC Newcastle to host the remembrance day service attended by HRH the Earl, and HRH the Countess of Wessex.

Steve was delighted to be asked to host the biggest Event in the entertainment industry calendar for the Stage Newspaper; the 2007 Showcall Showcase. Steve hosted the same event at Park Hall in 2005. Steve is a vastly experienced comedian and vocalist. Again, to the benefit of people choosing Steve to host their Event, this is a cast iron insurance policy, that should anything go wrong on the night, he can cover effortlessly for as long as is required.
